Silver Man

|
I had troubles before and behind me Seemed like even my Lord couldn’t find me I’d call on His Name, but things just weren’t turnin’ around. Bein’ in this most difficult situation Decided I would take a much needed vacation Where I came upon this tiny shop near the edge of town. I wandered inside and I’ll try to describe it the best I’m able This blessed little man was sitting at his table With some funny-lookin’ silver rocks in a boilin’ pan. Which he carefully placed upon his fire Then he turned his burner higher And we both stood watchin’ those rocks start meltin’ away. He said “Son, they call me the Silver Man Just stokin’ fire ‘neath my boilin’ pan Learned the trade by my father’s hand Got to make it just as pure as I can." |
